Robert Spradley

Robert Spradley, 87, of Norman Park, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Ellenton Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Smith and Rev. Blaine Walden officiating. James Spradley, Terry Spradley, Brandon Mercer, Garett Rooks, Paxton Rooks, and Brooks Dawson will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Buck Creek Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Jackson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Born on January 13, 1937, in Ellenton, Georgia, to the late Etheridge Spradley and Kathyrn Hiers Spradley. Mr. Spradley was a farmer and was a member of Ellenton Baptist Church where he served as the Sunday school superintendent for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Buddy Spradley, and Hilton Spradley.
Mr. Spradley is survived by his loving wife, Janice Waters Spradley of Norman Park; sons, Lincoln Dawson and wife Melissa of Cairo, and Matt Dawson and wife Amanda of Camilla; daughter, Alice Rooks and husband Kevin of Moultrie; grandchildren, Hannah Dawson, Maci Dawson, Garett Rooks and wife Harlee, Paxton Rooks, Luke Dawson, and Brooks Dawson; brothers, Paul Spradley of Norman Park, and Tommy Spradley of Moultrie; sister, Janet Gaskins of Sparks; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
